Common Questions:
Do you ship your Terrariums?
Unfortunately due to the delicate nature of the glass and layers of amendments we do not ship finished terrariums. They are local pick up only. You can order the Terrarium kits and those can be shipped.
How do I care for a Terrarium?
Open Terrarium care is based on the care cycle for the plants inside. These need regular care like any potted houseplant. They should never be kept in direct sun.
Closed Terrarium care instructions can be read here.
How often should I water my plants?
Each plant is unique and has it's own needs based on your space. Do your research. You're now responsible for a living being who depends on you. The most common thing to kill plants is over watering or lack of light. When it doubt, let the soil it dry out. Most plants can survive being underwatered far easier then over watered. Check moist levels all the way to the bottom of the pot, not just the first couple of inches. To be sure of water content in the potting medium you can get a fancy hydrometer to stick in and read the exact content, or a moisture still made of terracotta is also useful. I personally check with a toothpick, or even a wooden dowel.
What plant is this I have?
We appreciate you thinking of us when you want to get information about your current plant. However, we don't know all plants out there or even the hundreds of varieties of a species on sight. That goes for diseases and pests too. We can be close, but even I have to label my plants or I can't be sure. I do suggest downloading a free plant ID app such PlantSnap and iNaturalist. Those are my favorite. Though I catch myself using Google lens to look up plants I randomly come across and just need to know what it is.
Can I make a special plant or terrarium request?
You sure can. We reach out to our vendors weekly so if we don't have it in stock I'm happy to look for it for you. Just drop us an email or a DM on social media. Special orders do require a non-refundable deposit. Please email us a request.
Can we schedule you to visit our neighborhood / pool party/ brewery / bachelorette party / birthday / ect ?
Absolutely! Please call to schedule the bus to be at your event. Long as we're not already booked and you can check our event page anytime for current booked dates.
